Had a great week revisiting old haunts and discovering new ones.
Wonderful place and a pleasure to chill out on the terrace in the evenings. Mrs R, GREAT YARMOUTH 14 October 2010
We have had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Wonderful scenery, great hospitality and friendship. Enjoyed some picturesque drives and walks.
Everything has been great. Mr K, Beverley, East Yorkshire 14 October 2010
The Summer Palace was truly that a little palace set in the heart of Yorkshire. The scenery was stunning and the people friendly and helpful and the local food very good. If you want a totally relaxing holiday with country walks and good pub fayre this is the place to visit. Rodger and Hilary welcoming hosts and nothing is to much trouble. Mr G, Newton Abbot, Devon 29 August 2010
Our hideaway cottage was so peaceful and had stunning views from the patio - yet it was only a stone's throw from the village square with pubs, village shop and its own castle! You could even catch the racehorses returning through the square to their stables after training. The location, the delightful bijou property and the attentive owners were great, and it was a perfect base for all the attractions of the northern dales. Ms F, FELIXSTOWE, Suffolk 16 August 2010
This holiday is so relaxing yet set in the heart of the Dales. Would recomend this holiday to young or old. Mrs B, LEEDS, Yorkshire 26 April 2010
Yes i would recommend this holiday, booking arrangements very easy to do, friendliness of staff excellent. The accommodation was lovely, fantastic surroundings, welcoming owners, couldn't ask for anything more. Miss P, BURY ST. EDMUNDS, Suffolk 23 November 2009
A wonderful holiday in a lovely location, fields on one side, short walk into the village on the other side. Plenty to do, plenty to see, good local pubs and food - and only a short drive from "Wallace & Gromit" country (Wensleydale creamery at Hawes) I would not hesitate to recommend it to others, or to go back there myself. The owner and his wife were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble when I had a query, without being intrusive. Overall - excellent. Mrs P, STOCKTON-ON-TEES, Cleveland 12 November 2009
We have used Hoseasons recommended properties a number of times and this break in Yorkshire was particularly good. Mr B, CHIPPING NORTON 10 August 2009
A great welcome, a fabulous location and a beautiful cottage - I will stay again. Mrs W, Ormskirk, Lancashire 09 March 2009
The Summer Palace is the best accommodation I have stayed in. It was modern, cosy, had everything you needed, was in a great location and was great value for money. We also received a very warm welcome from the owner. Mr C, Northampton, Northamptonshire 13 September 2008
This cottage was absolutely fantastic and the warm welcome we received was best possible start to the weekend. We have already passed on our feelings to friends and family who would be interested. The only fault is that the cottage is too popular so we are struggling to rebook anytime in the near future! Mrs H, Blyth, Northumberland 18 February 2008
This holiday was brilliant and we have nothing bad to say about it. A really relaxing and scenic getaway - we were made to feel at home from the word go and the cottage was beautiful, I would definitely recommend it! Mrs M, Edinburgh, Midlothian 15 February 2008
If its peace and quiet you want with a hint of romance, then The Summer Palace is ideal! Mrs H, Doncaster, South Yorkshire 05 November 2007
